Privacy notice
This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit swisshedge.io or contact us. It applies under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where relevant, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible
Toggweiler GmbH, Atlingerstrasse 15, 8215 Hallau (SH), Switzerland (UID CHE-108.251.256) operates Swisshedge and is responsible for the processing described in this notice.
Contact for all privacy matters: office@swisshedge.io.
2. Visiting this website
Technical data: when you load a page, our hosting infrastructure processes technical data such as your IP address, the date and time, the requested page, the referring page and browser and device information. We use it to deliver the website, keep it secure and fix errors.
Visit statistics: our hosting platform provides aggregated statistics about visits, for example pages viewed and referring websites. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking tools. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this notice.
Fonts: the website loads fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address.
Browser storage: the website stores small items in your browser, such as your language preference, so that it works as expected.
3. Enquiries and forms
When you submit a form, we process your name, email address, optional telephone number, your message, the form you used, the page language, and your preferred contact channel and time if you provide them.
To handle and protect the form we also record technical data: a hashed version of your IP address that cannot be read back, your browser user agent and, where our hosting platform provides it, your approximate country.
We use this data to answer your request, to assess whether and how we can help you, and to protect the form against abuse. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and preventing abuse, and your consent for optional details you choose to provide.
4. Messaging channels
If you ask us to contact you through WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal, we will use that service to reply to you. Those providers process your data under their own terms.
5. Recipients and transfers abroad
We share personal data only with providers that help us operate the website and handle your request: hosting and database providers (including Supabase and the platform that builds and hosts this website), email delivery providers and Google, which provides the fonts. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and for as long as legal retention duties require. We then delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Write to office@swisshedge.io.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you are in the EU/EEA, with your local supervisory authority.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No transmission over the internet is completely secure.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The current version is always published on this page.
